Bujinkan

The Bujinkan is an organization founded by Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi that contains 9 traditional Japanese Ryu Ha, or schools, that trace back to samurai and ninja origin.Each school is a complete martial arts that has striking, locking, and throwing techniques as well several weapons tied to them.The Bujinkan is focused on self defense and personal growth and as such there is no sports application nor or there any Bujinkan tournaments.

Valley Bujinkan

The Valley Bujinkan is headed by Shidoshi Andrew Law who is a member of the Pacific Northwest Bujinkan organization and has been training in the bujinkan for over 13 years. Andrew sensei earned his shidoshi(teachers) license when he passed his Go Dan test in 2019 while training in Japan.The Valley Bujinkan dojo trains in all 9 of the Bujinkan Ryu Ha and all the weapons associated with them. We especially enjoy training with swords and Biken Waza.The aim of the Valley Bujinkan dojo is to improve ourselves, our taijutsu, and our awareness of the world around us while fostering a strong community.

Classes

$15 per class
First class is free

Classes are open to ages 16 and up.
Classes are currently being held in Salem, OR in Wallace Marine Park.
